Hi, I'm Kasia Kowalska

Your freelance Digital Marketing Consultant

My story with digital began way back in 2004 in Warsaw, Poland, where I come from. My best friend inspired me to start blogging, creating graphic designs and making HTML blog layouts (all in the name of our shared interests like Harry Potter and the LOTR). I still remember how excited I was when my dad bought me my first Adobe Photoshop 4.0! Since the age of 2, I have been travelling with my family extensively, which hooked me into photography. Whenever there was an opportunity for a visual project at school, I “volunteered as tribute”.

 

Simply put, creativity has always been a huge part of my life.

 

Oddly enough, I initially vowed to never venture into marketing due to my perception of its sales-driven nature, influenced by Polish adverts. Ambitious to get high quality education, I got accepted to study BBA Management at Lancaster University in the UK. Studying marketing at uni changed my perspective, as I discovered the field's depth and realised it was much more than I had believed. This revelation led me down the path of a marketing career, with a specific interest in social media.

My experience with digital got real working in the first two agencies in London, when I immersed myself in different social platforms, copywriting, PPC, SEO, email marketing, LIVE event coverage, influencers, photography, videography… – you name it, I’ve probably tried it. Seeing my clients succeed against our goals was really rewarding, and I always pushed myself to do more.

I soon realised the limitations of organic and its lack of comprehensive conversion measurement. Seeking a more data-driven approach, I delved into the realm of paid social media at Merkle, a global CXM agency, working alongside strategy & planning, paid search, and programmatic.

 

With a drive to deliver client success, I learnt how to:

  • reach very niche audiences

  • deliver successful multi-national campaigns

  • run activity with multiple currencies

  • conduct brand lift studies

  • drive results through Black Friday promos and more!

 

Launching summer 2023, I bridge the gap between organic and paid social, empowering brands to enhance their social media outcomes. Together, we embark on a transformative journey, utilising comprehensive strategies that resonate and drive results.
